Dr. Stefano Mega is a practitioner dedicated to excellence in dental surgery, with particular specialization in implantology, gnathology and cosmetic medicine. Intrepid and committed, Dr. Mega has a distinguished academic background and international experience.
He graduated in medicine and surgery from the University of Bologna and perfected his skills in oral surgery at the University of Parma. He enriched his educational background with study periods abroad in the United States, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain, focusing mainly on implantology.
Dr. Mega completed an internship at New York University, College of Dentistry, and earned a Ph.D. In Periodontology at the University of Gothenburg. He furthered his education with postgraduate studies in implant-prosthetic therapy at the Maxillo-facial Center Klinik in Zurich and at Klinik Pyramide, also in Zurich, under the guidance of Prof. A. Triaca.
He further enriched his professional background with a two-year course in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States and a master’s degree in Implant Prosthetics at the University of Lisbon in Portugal.
Dr. Mega has participated in advanced implantology and surgery courses taught by renowned experts in the field, including Dr. Malò, Dr. Davò, Dr. Zaninari, Dr. Merli, Dr. Carusi, Dr. Di Stefano, Dr. Bruschi, Dr. Scipioni, Dr. Franco, Dr. Testori, and Dr. Chiapasco.
