Elena Maccaferri is a Psychologist and Cognitive Psychotherapist with extensive experience in the field of mental health and emotional well-being. She graduated with honors in 2007 with a degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Bologna, and has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to honing her skills through a series of specializations and postgraduate courses.
After completing her post-graduate internship for licensure at the Villa Igea Psychiatric Nursing Home in Modena, she became a member of the Emilia-Romagna Register of Psychologists in 2009. Over the years he continued his education with a Master’s degree in Relaxation Techniques in Milan and a Master’s degree in School Psychology in Bologna.
His training then focused on Cognitive and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy, completing graduate school at Cognitive Studies in Modena, Italy. During this time he acquired specialized skills in the treatment of Eating Disorders, Obsessive Disorders, Depression, Anxiety and School Problems.
She has been in professional practice since 2009, offering counseling, individual pathways, emotional support and therapy for both adults and children. She has worked at Sant’Orsola Hospital in Bologna with Eating Disorders care and support groups and gained experience in the field of clinical oncology at Bellaria Hospital in Bologna.
